The Vedic philosophy connects the ailments or undesirable events in our lives to Karma (action). The Karma, is considered to be an account  of our good and bad actions (negative Karmas) that affects our future. As we can't go to the past and fix our mistakes, the Yagya, according the Vedic resolutions, is the remedies to by pass the effect of negative Karmas.

The Yagyas are carried out by the Vedic scholars and Pundits, usually carried out in front of a fire bed and chanting of specific Vedic Mantras, as you may see the picture on your left.
