-Tri- Doshas Defined:

Ayurveda defines three Doshas, namely, Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Each Dosha is mainly a constituted with two elements from Pancha Mahabutas.
 
-Ayurveda defines three Doshas, called Vata, Pitta and Kapha, and each Dosa is mainly a constituted with two elements from Pancha Mahabutas. Among these three, Vata is considered to be the key dosha and play a significant role to move other dosha around. Wthiout Vata, other doshas remain inert.
  -Prakiti or Profile: Each Individual is born with his/her own dosha profiles, mostly one dosha remain less dominant while two other doshas will prevail in most of the individuals.

Vata (Wind) Air and ether Prana Vata Chest region
    Udana Vata Thoracic and throat region
    Samana Vata Heart and navel region
    Vyana Vata Heart and circulatory system
    Apana Vata Pelvic region
Main locations of Vata are:Colon, but also located in ears, bones and nerve tissues.
       
Pitta (Bile) Fire and Water Pachaka Pitta Liver and pancreas
    Sadhaka Pitta Heart
    Bhrajaka Pitta Skin
    Alochaka Pitta Eyes

Main locations of Pitta are: Small intestine, stomach acids, blood, eyes and sweat.

       
Kapha (Mucus) Water and Earth Kledaka Kapha Stomach
    Avalambaka Kapha Heart, chest and lower back regions
    Bodhaka Kapha Mouth, Tongue and throat
    Tarpaka Kapha Head (cerebrospinal fluid)
    Sleshaka Kapha Joints
    Ranjaka Pitta Liver and spleen
    Sadhaka Pitta Hearth
    Alochaka Pitta Eyes
    Bhrajaka Pitta Skin

Main locations of Kapha are: Stomach, chest, troat, head, pancreas, fat, nose and tongue
