-Ayurveda Defined:

  -Keyword Ayurveda: Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word, Ayu defines the span of life and Veda means Knowledge. Ayurveda is a section of the Atharva-Veda. The Vedic scholars ("Rishis"), wrote the  scripts in Sanskrit and this Veda was practiced through generations.
  -Root References: Ancient Ayurvedic textbooks are Characa Samhita, Sushruta Samhita, Ashtanga Samgraha & Ashtanga hridaya, Kahyapa Samhita, Bhava Prakash, Madhava Nidan and Sharangdhara Samhita.
  -Today's Ayurveda: The root of Ayurveda is more that 5000 years old, and during this time span, the section of Veda has aged and enriched in a direction, where this Veda has gained parallel status to our modern medicine.  These two disciplines fall back to each other to get the maximum benefits of the both schools. Ayurveda while considering the body symptoms, further blends with some environmental and cosmic theology. India being a platform of many religion, later on  varieties of  faith and practices merged into the modern or today's applied form of Ayurveda.
  -Theology of Daily Practices: Ayurveda settled on the four activities asscited with our daily routines, namely, Ahara (Diet), Nidra (Sleep) and  Samyam (where you restrain yourself from doing certain acts like greed, blabber, eating unhealthy, anger, abnormal sexual conducts).
  -Disciplines of Ayurveda (Astanga): Ayurveda has eight branches called Ashtangas. These are keyed below.

Kaya = general medicine
Baala = pediatrics
Graha = astrological
Urdwanga = above neck
Shalya =surgery
Dhamshtra = toxicology,
Jara = longevity
Vrusha = infertility.

None the less, some other practices like Rekhi(soiritual healing) or Acupressure blended with to traditional Ayurvedic treatments existed in the form of messages or touch therapies.

   
  -The elements recognized in Ayurveda:

Pancha Mahabhuta (water, earth, air, akash (ether), fire)
Doshas (Body type: Vata, Pitta, Kapha)
Dhathus (Body tissues)
Malas (body waste products)
Agni (biological fire)
Srotas

Our Role: We are assuming a leading role in offering the services based on Ayurveda, in a peaceful environment  and cultural plateaus of  Curacao.

More History about Ayurveda:
Ayurveda, in today's form, is a pursuits of several centuries, the fruits we are eating could be dated as early as 1200 BC.
According to Vedic scriptures, Ayurveda is divine revelation of Loard Bra
  - Rishi Bhradwaja believed to be the first human to learn Ayurveda from Lord Indra and practiced thereafter. 
- Rishi Agnivesha, 1200 B.C, believed to be the first one to documented Ayurveda in text form, described as   " Agnivesh Tantra". Rishi Charaka  updated this book, and composed "Charak Samhita".
- Sushruta Samhita is a Sanskrit text on surgery, composed around 1000 BC; and Sushrut Samhita together with Charaka Samhitā, were taught in the ancient Universities of Takshashila and Nalanda.
 
 
-Papiamentu is the official language spoken in the Netherlands Antilles especially in Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao, the so call ABC Islands. Papiamentu is an African based language so called Iberian based Creole. Nowadays the language has influences of a lot of languages especially Portuguese and Spanish. Papiamentu is taught in schools as well.
